There are many ways you can help us fulfill our vision that every child has a safe, living home and the opportunity to flourish: DONATE – Cash contributions to Project Patchwork help support the long-term sustainability of the organization. See below for more specific information. SPONSOR an event or project. For more specific information, contact Maria Bates at (727) 824-0863 or maria@projectpatchwork.org. CONNECT us with your private, family, or corporate foundation or your friends and others who you know who make grants or gifts to charitable and educational institutions, such as Project Patchwork, Inc. HOST an Event - Hold a Fundraising Event at your house or our house and invite your friends and colleagues or have an event and send us the proceeds. VOLUNTEER - Become a Between. Betweens, in quilting circles, are a specific type of quilting needle that help sew together all of the layers of a quilt. Project Patchwork Betweens are our very important volunteers. Our Betweens help bring it all together! SPREAD THE WORD – Share our mission with your friends, family and colleagues! PARTICIPATE in our Events, Activities, and Programs. UTIILIZE our Services – Adopt, Foster, Get Active. PLAN your gift – Talk to us about how you can support Patchwork through planned giving. SHARE your expertise – Give your time and expertise on a particular project or for our daily needs – tax preparation, cleaning services, graphic design, lawn services, or whatever your specialty is. CREATE – Don’t let our list impede your creativity….what ideas do you have? GIVE through our leadership initiatives: Founder’s Circle The first year of any new creation can be an exciting adventure. We invite you to join us on this journey and help be a Founder of Project Patchwork. Nonprofit organizations take time, energy, inspiration, connection, visioning, and funds to become strong and viable. We hope that you will be as excited to join our family by supporting the development of this innovative and exciting venture and support Patchwork by joining the Founder’s Circle with a donation of $1,000 or more by July 4, 2008. Sash Society The Sash Society is a group of individuals who give at the level of $5,000 or more and who are committed to learning more about children who are impacted by adoption and foster care. Our Sash Society then utilizes this education to raise awareness in the community for our children’s needs. Community Advisory Council Personal connections are invaluable to the success of Project Patchwork. We are sure that not one of us has made it in our lifetime without at least one person having helped us along the way. We want to help be that bridge for our children. If you want to take a step further in being a child advocate – someone who won’t allow children to go without the resources they need - then join the Community Advisory Council to reach out to your friends, colleagues, and the community to share Project Patchwork’s vision. We are grateful for the tremendous contributions of our friends, families, and community members.
