Throughout our lifetime, we need support in dealing with life's changes. There are many resources available for people in our community and we hope that in offering these support groups, or as we prefer to call them, Sharing Circles, that people whose lives have been impacted by adoption and foster care will be able to access these resources more fully.

FINDING FAMILIES

Are you wanting to share and learn about the process of finding your family? Whether you are an adoptee, birth parent, adoptive parent, sister, brother, aunt or uncle, you all have something in common - dealing with loss and reunion. No matter where you are in the process, whether you are just beginning the process of finding your birth mom, dealing with the issues that come up after you have found a family member, or waiting to find a loved one, you can find support in this group. This Sharing Circle is facilitated by a staff member of Project Patchwork, but is not therapist-run. We meet on a monthly basis - the first Saturday of every Month from 10 to 11:30 am at Project Patchwork office.

BIRTH PARENT - POST ADOPTION

For many birth parents, the separation and loss that occurs from letting a child go through adoption never ends. This Sharing Circle is a resource for you, no matter how many years ago you placed your child for adoption, to share and listen with other birth parents. We meet the 1st Saturday of every month from 12:30 to 2.

If you have any questions, please contact us at (727) 824-0863 or info@projectpatchwork.org.
