This is a great way to spend your Saturday with family, friends, or co-workers. Snapquest is both fun and educational. Although you can join us for snapquest just because it will be fun, we suggest a contribution of $25 per person or $100 per team
(each $25 contribution will include a Patchwork sustaining membership)
The money raised from this event support our expressive arts programs for youth who are or who have been in foster care. Snapquest is one example of the types of activities we provide in our expressive arts programs. Your support will ensure that more youth get to have this type of fun also! These programs are provided free of charge to youth who are or who have been in foster care.
Each team must be able to fit in one car and have a camera. Let us know if you need to be matched with a team or if you have room in your car for more.
1. As a team, you will go out into the community and take photos representing certain words. The words will be provided when you arrive at Patchwork. (For those who have participated in a previous Snapquest adventure, don’t worry there will be a new set of words this time).
2. Get the photos developed while you have lunch out on the town. You are responsible for this part, but we will give you a list of stores where you can get them printed.
3. After lunch, head back to Patchwork, review your photos and choose one team photo for each word.
4. Your final assignment is to get creative and prepare the photos for display to the other teams.
5. Celebrate and share over ice cream, which we will provide.
