Hands Across the Bay Idea Incubator Documentaries & Reports Speak Up!Our facilitators will lead expressive arts groups primarily for middle school and high school aged children who are currently or who have been in foster care. Many children who are or who have been in foster care move from home to home with very little continuity. These groups will help them have some continuity regardless of their placement situation. Groups may be provided at our location or at local group homes or residential facilities for children. Many children in this age group need alternative approaches to traditional therapy as a method for connecting, sharing, and expressing themselves. These groups will provide children the opportunity to share through art, writing, and music their feelings in a safe space and in an appropriate manner.
